This Privacy Policy explains what information Chughtai Estate Advisor (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects through chughtaiestateadvisor.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. It’s written to describe what this site actually does, not a generic template.

This policy is a good-faith description of our current practices. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and if you need this document for a specific compliance purpose, have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer familiar with your situation.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

• Account registration — first name, last name, gender (optional), email address, phone number (optional), and a password, when you register an account to submit or manage property listings.
• Property listing submissions — property details (address, price, size, features), your contact phone number, and any images you upload, when you submit a property listing.
• Contact and callback request forms — your name, phone number, and any message you enter, when you request a callback about a specific property or contact us directly.
• Newsletter signup — your name and email address, if you subscribe.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location at a city/country level, device type, and similar aggregate usage data). This relies on cookies and similar technologies.
• Advertising — we display ads through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your browsing activity, unless you’ve limited ad personalization in your own Google account or browser settings.
• Standard login/session cookies — set when you log in, to keep you signed in and remember basic preferences.

Third-party embedded content

We display Google reviews via Trustindex and offer WhatsApp as a contact option. Clicking a WhatsApp link takes you to WhatsApp directly — we don’t collect anything from that interaction ourselves, but WhatsApp/Meta’s own privacy policy applies to what happens on their platform.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and process property listing submissions.
• To respond to callback requests and contact form messages — this means sharing your details internally with our sales/support team, not with unrelated third parties.
• To send newsletter updates, if you’ve subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To understand site usage and improve the site, via aggregated analytics.
• To serve advertising that helps fund the site, via Google AdSense.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Legal basis and jurisdiction

Pakistan does not currently have a comprehensive, enacted data protection law. The Personal Data Protection Bill has been drafted and Cabinet-approved but has not yet been passed by Parliament as of this writing. The applicable law today is the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016, as amended in 2025, which criminalizes unauthorized transfer of personal or sensitive data without consent (Section 38) and is enforced by the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA). We handle your data consistent with the spirit of that law: we don’t transfer your personal data to third parties without a legitimate reason connected to the services described in this policy.

If you’re visiting from a jurisdiction with its own data protection framework (for example, the EU/UK’s GDPR or similar frameworks elsewhere), we aim to honor the spirit of those rights as a matter of good practice — see Section 4 — even though Pakistani law does not currently mandate a specific compliance framework for us to certify against.

4. Your choices and rights

Regardless of where you’re located, you can ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and associated personal information, subject to anything we’re required to keep for legitimate administrative, legal, or security reasons.
• Unsubscribe from newsletter emails at any time, via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.

To make any of these requests, contact us directly. We’ll respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

5. How long we keep information

We retain account and listing information for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legitimate administrative purposes. Contact/callback form submissions are kept long enough to handle your inquiry and for our own records of business communications.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No website can guarantee perfect security, but we don’t store payment information on this site, and passwords are stored in encrypted (hashed) form, not in plain text.

7. Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults engaging in real estate transactions. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
